A meadow is never rushed. It reminds us to stay low to the earth, to observe, to let time stretch. To walk through a meadow is to witness transition, between seasons, between stillness and motion, between growth and letting go. We were drawn to that emotional landscape just as much as the physical one.

As with all glazes in the MATTER series, MEADOWS was developed through a process of close observation, material testing, and intuition. Each plate, bowl, and cup features natural shifts in tone that mimic the slow gradients found in nature, a moment of soft yellow, a veil of green. No two pieces are exactly the same, just as no two meadows are ever unchanged.
