Japan Guide Book

Our Japan Travel Guide is here! In March of 2023, we were fortunate enough to spent a week touring Japan together. This book goes beyond the usual tourist spots by connecting each destination with a glaze from our Japan ceramic collection that capture the emotional and visual essence of some of the places we visited.

This is a journey that paints the soul of Japan through our eyes, with personal stories woven in - from the fleeting sakura blossom in Matsumoto to the tranquil moss gardens of Kyoto, each chapter is an ode to the moment's beauty and the country's enduring charm.

We hope you see this book as a personal invitation from us to explore and create beautiful memories. We also want to reiterate that the book is a homage to the human scale architecture, the traditional crafts and the rich culinary landscapes of Japan, a dedication to the resilience and tenderness of Japan and it's people, especially in the face of natural disasters, as seen in the Wajima. Our narrative is based off personal anecdotes and solemn reflections from the unspoken bond we formed with both the land and its people.

We hope this book inspires you to experience Japan from our perspective not just as a tourist, but as someone in a deep, collective narrative of beauty and emotion, that it may lead you to the creation of your own cherished memories in Japan.
